Veiled Notions
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (July 20, 2024) – The Art Spirit Gallery proudly presents “Veiled Notion,” an exquisite exhibit showcasing several regional artists: Helen Parsons, Susan Mattson, Mary Frances Dondelinger, Randy Palmer, and Chris Bivins.
"Veiled Notions" is a thought-provoking art exhibit that delves into the complexities of hidden truths and unspoken narratives. This collection brings together a diverse group of artists, each exploring themes of identity, perception, and the often obscured layers of meaning within our personal and collective experiences.
Through various mediums, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art, "Veiled Notions" challenges viewers to look beyond the surface and uncover the deeper stories embedded in each piece. The exhibit invites contemplation on how cultural, social, and personal veils shape our understanding of reality and influence how we communicate and conceal truths.
Highlights of the exhibit include:
- Abstract Paintings: Featuring works that use color, texture, and form to evoke the unseen emotions and thoughts that lie beneath our conscious awareness.
- Sculptural Installations: Offering a tactile exploration of concealment and revelation, these pieces engage with space and light to create immersive experiences.
- Mixed Media Works: Combining photography, fabric, and found objects, these artworks question the boundaries between visible and invisible, known and unknown.
- Digital Art: Utilizing technology to investigate modern forms of masking and filtering reality, these pieces reflect on the digital age's impact on our perception.
"Veiled Notions" is not just an art exhibit; it is a journey into the multifaceted ways we veil our notions and the profound insights that can be discovered when we dare to look beyond them.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, August 3rd, to Sunday, September 1st. For more information, don't hesitate to contact Blair Williams at info@TheArtSpiritGallery.com.
