A Sandpoint based artist know for his joinery and attention to detail, Samuel has an extensive background
in all things wood. The descendant of a long line of woodworkers, his obsession with wood began as a child
playing and building in the shop with his dad and grandpa. At 18, he moved to Manhattan and perused a
career at a high-end design firm where he was engulfed in the design world and developed an affinity
towards fine furniture. Homesick, he returned to Idaho where he quickly rose the ranks of local woodshops
until finally stating his own business in 2015. Tired of looking at squares, he has been exploring the
possibilities of carving; giving life and animation to his work with whimsy as his muse.
