I have lived all my life in the West, I was raised in the Northern Sierra Nevada mountains and high plateaus
where I fell in love with mountains. I just cannot get enough of the volcanic range of mountains stretching
along the western seaboard, or the uplifts from the Rockies to the coastal Cascade ranges. I learned to
work with my hands in the construction trade with my uncle, and I learned to work with people in the
personal care industry with many members of my family. I attended college as a non-traditional student in
my late 20’s and Graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology, moving to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1999
after graduation. My wife and I have built our family and lives here every day since. Together, we have
found our calling in the work we love, helping disabled adults to live their best life. A vocation that gives
me many hours to spend drawing and painting with my friends.
