Kathy Gale

BIOGRAPHY

GAL 0263 Twelve O'Clock Shadows

Kathy Gale is a Spokane native and graduate of Gonzaga University (BA ‘78). She began her career in the Seattle area, resettled to Coeur d’Alene, and finally, Dalton Gardens, Idaho. She is an artist supported by the love of family and friends, who are the heart and soul of her painting process.

Kathy considers herself a traditional artist working in an impressionistic style with a strong abstract quality. Her current subject matter is rooted in the landscape, which Kathy seeks to portray as simply (and directly) as possible.

She has participated at numerous events over the years: The Edmonds Art Festival, BAM Art in The Park in Boise, Art on the Green in Coeur d’Alene, the Spokane Visual Arts Tour, First Night Spokane, and The CdA Artists’ Studio Tour (which she co-founded in 2012).
